strawberry fields
these days i'm totally into rock&roll fashion.
highlights:
sharp colors and stripes
the beatles haircuts. so british and cool. i noticed a small process of reinvention on bucharest streets...which is enchanting.
fringed clothing items. they may look old-fashioned...but it's certainly their point. without the right attitude it just looks ridiculous
the rolling stones symbol. go for a vintage t-shirt and wear it 10 days in a row. don't forget to shower. and DO NOT confound it with the Kiss FM symbol. they just lack imagination!

corina's world
corina vladescu is one of the few extraordinary people who manage to keep their "down-to-earth-ness" while creating fabulous dreams that others can only admire. with a warm smile and playful, cinnamon locks, corina invites you on a scene full of characters. when you get surrounded by her clothes, you expect the creations to jump off the shelves and dance around you. her personality shines through every piece. you get to notice the wonderful detailings and quality fabrics only after your head stops spinning. it's enough to understand her designs, and to be smart enough to let her story be sewed to your skin. then it strikes you: corina vladescu's clothes suits every wonderful mind.

Love for Life
How would you picture your Love for Life? Would it look good printed on a bracelet?
I went shopping this morning and stumbled across these stunning bracelets from Aldo. Their special aura comes from the fact that the drawings were made by poverty/AIDS affected children in Rwanda, picturing their idea of Love for Life. The collaboration between Aldo and YouthAids charity gives everyone the opportunity to look fashionable and help the unfortunate.
The bracelet: 5$.
A smile and a shadow of joy in a child's heart: priceless.

rising trends
(Erin Wasson, Preen, Christopher Kane, House of Holland, Dolce&Gabbana, Twenty & twelve, Erin Wasson, Eley kishimoto, Burberry, Proenza Schouler, Moschino, Blumarine, Ashish, Prada, Jeremy Scott.)
there's certainly a boudoir feeling that sparkles on the catwalks; bras hiding under sheer tops or daring under denim-vests. Lingerie that shined on catwalks: at Dolce and Gabbana, Prada, Preen, Erin Wasson, Twenty &Twelve, House of Holland and Christopher Kane.
Knitted, comfy, rolled socks looking absolutely stunning in high-heeled shoes at Eley kishimoto, Erin Wasson and Burberry.
The cross-necklace trend channeling the faith in the 90s, rock music and anarchy as seen at Erin Wasson and Twenty & Twelve.
The light, fruity, tropical trend that works in cosmopolitan cities at Prada, Blumarine, Moschino, Proenza Schouler, Ashish.
High: Prada plastic shoes with strong, angular heels; the longing for a grungy-urban spirit in Erin Wasson's fabulous collection; the naughty hairdos and make-up at Prada.
Low: Jeremy Scott's collection. It looks like he dreamed about the Flintstones a night before and then draw the entire collection on speed.
