Kate Moss covers both British and Russian september issues for Vogue, and also W magazine issue. Something about her makes fashion addicted girls and not only buy magazines like candy. Editors are paid and that's how fashion journalism keeps out of the financial crisis. Maybe?

The wedding season is coming and I felt like searching for the cuttest gowns.
I couldn't resist not taking into consideration Vivienne Westwood's Gold Label Lily Gown, which Carrie Bradshaw wore so beautifully in SATC The Movie. No extra words needed.
The second dress is made by the ultimate wedding gowns designer, Vera Wang. It's the perfect choice for a slim figure, suggesting an ethereal presence, walking on thin air.
You can find the third and the fourth ones in Bien Savvy's boutique, a romanian fashion house where it's impossible not to find something perfect for your body type. I especially like the second dress because of the delicate embroidery reminding of long gone good times, and the first one for its greek-goddess allure,simple design and overwhelming elegance and purity.
If you're more of a fairy tale person just go for a chiffonne fantasy, designed by Oscar de la Renta.
Break all traditional rules and get into a grunge-inspired wedding dress designed by Alber Elbaz for Lanvin.
Nostalgic for the domestic 40s? Opt for an ultra-classy Carolina Herrera ensemble. Don't forget the fabulous veil-hat.
Last, but not least, i admired this asymmetrical one shoulder dress with tulle application, designed by David Fielden.

rising trends

I wonder if extra-long boots (Prada, Emilio Pucci, Louis Vuitton) will be mass-produced in winter.
On the other hand, i'm pretty sure the funky hats (Dolce & Gabbana, Alexander McQueen, Louis Vuitton, Anna Sui's Peter Pan feathered hats, Christian Dior, Diane von Furstenberg) will be more present in the streets. Besides, if Sasha Pivovarova manages to wear so perfectly a bun-ribbon head-band in H&M's fall ad campaign, we all do.

The Dolce & Gabbana fall collection resembled a glamourous 50s diva party; noble textures, body flattering dresses with accents on waist, fluid materials with black and white Marylin Monroe prints, sweet checked little nothings - skirts and bags, a little bit of animal print and dotted A-line skirts, all wrapped up in a Hollywood vixen drama. Practically, the italian duo spiced up in a perfect way (Marylin Monroe prints, dots, gloves worn as scarves) the newest trends (animal prints, checked materials, 50s silhouette, leather, opulent fur-coats,etc). I simply declare it one of the seasons' best collections.

A dutch designer with a strong predilection for nostalgic textures and craftsmanship. Appreciated by leading fashion journalists worldwide, he inherited his passion for design from his parents, art dealers.
His fourth couture collection, called "Check, Check Mate!" is in fact an adventure in embroided detailing, small ravishing flames from swarovsky crystals, as well as a trippy rollercoaster through different shapes.
I especially like the fact that he carefully creates a unique story for each piece of clothing and this kind of "technique" grabs you with both hands and simply puts a spell on you.

sienna in gq

sienna miller covers GQ magazine, the UK september issue. I think she has a natural, glowing beauty. And of course that innate sense of style. She just mesmerized me in Factory Girl, playing Eddie Sedgwick. Even though she's been photoshoped for The September Issue of Vogue... I think it was an unnecessary action because it turned out to be a complete uninspired editorial.
